Since 2011 I’ve been hosting a literary festival in the south of Tuscany, Capalbio Libri, where I have the privilege to read on stage a selection of the best contemporary Italian fiction and non-fiction and meet the authors.

MY FIRST NOVEL
Occhi di cane, cuore di cervo was published with Cairo Publishing in 2011.
An old professor is writing a book on Pandora’s box when he receives menacing anonymous letters.
His life seems to run parallel to the one led by Hesiod - the ancient Greek author who first wrote about Pandora’s myth.
The professor’s isolated existence is disturbed with the arrival of his young niece, who came to visit and change the old man’s perspective on life.

MY SECOND NOVEL
My second novel, La moglie del cieco, was published in July 2025 with La Vita Felice publishing.
Alice Williams is trying to rebuild her life after a divorce. She drowns in Bloody Mary in a bitter self-inflict seclusion, until she starts receiving calls from a strange man who claims to know her. Alice’s fragile existence crumbles as she embarks in a journey to find her identity, in a precarious balance between past and present, between dream and reality, between what she was and what she could become. Between Alice and the blind’s wife.

MY MOVIE
I wrote and directed my first film, The Contenders, in 2010 - admitted in International Film Festival and winner of the Aloha Accolade Award at the Honolulu Film Festival.
A group of friends unite for a weekend and have to face a sudden death and old relationships drama.

MY FIRST PLAY
This play I wrote was directed by Shira-Lee Shalit in 2014 for a run at the Cherry Lane Theater in Manhattan.
A young woman in the ‘50s finds herself in a strange triangle with her aunt and boyfriend, while spending time in her apartment in New York on a long and very hot summer weekend.

My second play was produced at the Cherry Lane Theater in Manhattan in 2016.
Two couples meet in a charming hotel in Tuscany. But when the night falls, they will confront their demons and discover their most intimate secrets.
