Writing and translating
My first screenplay, Eve's Story, was finalist at the competition Screenplay Festival in 2005. In 2010, with the film The Contenders that I wrote and directed, I won the Accolade Award for Excellence in Filmmaking at the Honolulu International Film Festival. My third script, A Small Accident, received an Honorable Mention at Table Read My Screenplay contest during the Sundance Festival 2011. I've recently translated that script into Italian and adapted into a new feature film currently in development.
In 2011 my first novel was published in Italy, Occhi di cane, cuore di cervo, available in Italian on IBS.it.
For a few years I've been translating to and from Italian for different companies and publishers. My first publication in translation was a few poems by Ryan Buynak, distributed online by the prestigious Italian magazine Poesia 2.0. They are here.
